Mentimeter

Mentimeter lets you build a presentation where some slides are questions. The audience joins with a code on their phones, answers polls, adds words to a word cloud, ranks options or takes a quiz, and the results build up on screen as people respond.

It works well when a speaker wants input from a room rather than one-way delivery: workshops, trainings, all-hands meetings and lectures. Hosts can mix ordinary content slides with interactive ones, and an AI feature can help draft a first version of a presentation from a prompt.

The free plan limits how many interactive questions you can use and how many people can join each month, so a test run is easy but a large event usually needs a paid plan. Results can be exported afterward, which is handy for workshop notes or a follow-up survey.
